— FAQ

The questions every fleet asks. Answered plainly.

What Certflo does, what it doesn't, how the trial works, and how your data is protected. If your question isn't here, reach out through the app once you're signed up.

01 Does Certflo pull MVRs or run drug-and-alcohol queries for me?
Certflo is built around the documents you already have. You upload the MVR or drug-and-alcohol record, and we handle the tracking, expiration alerts, and audit-ready export. Automated pulls from state DMVs and the Clearinghouse are not part of the current product.
02 Does it replace our ELD or hours-of-service tracker?
No. Certflo focuses on compliance documents — Driver Qualification Files, medical cards, MVRs, certificates, and the accident register. If you already have an ELD provider for hours-of-service, keep using it alongside Certflo.
03 Will it handle drug and alcohol consortium membership?
Consortium management is not part of Certflo today. You can still upload and track drug and alcohol test records as part of the DQF tab for each driver.
04 Is the driver app a real mobile app?
It's a Progressive Web App — your drivers install it on iPhone or Android from a link, get a real home screen icon, and can open it offline to review their documents. No App Store download required.
05 How does the DQF binder export work?
Every document you upload is indexed against the 11-tab structure in 49 CFR Part 391: driver application, previous employer verification, CDL copy, road test certificate, DOT medical card, MVR, ELDT certificate, hazmat training, annual review, violations list, and drug and alcohol records. One click builds a tabbed PDF in order, ready for the inspector.
06 What if we operate multiple carriers under one company?
Each carrier gets its own isolated workspace with its own users, drivers, and document library. Nothing bleeds between carriers — you can move between them without mixing records.
07 Does it work for hazmat fleets?
Yes. Hazmat endorsement tracking is a first-class document type alongside the CDL, medical card, MVR, and ELDT certificate. Drivers hauling hazmat get the same expiration alerts and binder placement as every other document.
08 What happens when the free trial ends?
After the 3-day free trial, the first monthly charge runs at $29 per driver with a 5-driver minimum — a floor of $145 per month. You can cancel any time from your account billing page and the remaining days of the trial aren't charged.
09 How is my carrier's data protected?
Every carrier's data is isolated from every other carrier. Access is gated by role — branch manager, supervisor, dispatch, or driver — and enforced at the data layer. Documents are encrypted in transit and at rest.
